Quantuz brand was launched in the Netherlands in 1992 by industrial designer and entrepreneur Paulus van Leeuwen. Originally trained as a ceramic industrial designer at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He started his career in 1979, working in a wide field of product design for domestic and personal use.
His works are on permanent display in:

HISTORY

of material and design.

With a history in ceramic industrial design, Paulus van Leeuwen puts an emphasis on the three dimensional nature of design. Watches are approached more as sculpture objects, leading to a surprising attention to detail, even on the back of the watches.
