International expansion from the early start

In the site of La Plaine Saint Denis, North Paris Area, at the end of 1936, Mr. Lucien BERNARD set up a manufacturing shop of electric motors.The activity, interrupted in 1939, resumed in 1946 after the Liberation. In 1949, the company was founded and started specializing in the design and manufacturing of electric actuators.

From its early start, international expansion has been a key stone of the company development strategy: In the sixties and seventies a complete European network was built up starting with Germany and Belgium. In the eighties, international expansion was targeted towards the American and Asian markets. Then, in the nineties, the network was extended to South East Asia and South America, to finally reach the Middle-East and Russia more recently.
